LGE is located in the southern suburbs of Sydney, approx. 25 minutes from Sydney airport.

 

The company was formed in 1987 by David Batchen and John Treloar, the reason for this formation was to develop and market a LP Gas nozzle to compete against the ZVG that had at that time, market dominance within Australia and New Zealand.

 

In 1993 Philip Treloar was persuaded to join and manage the company. In 2006 Philip Treloar bought a 100% shareholding of LGE and continued the drive to become a top three leader in the world of high quality and safety LP Gas nozzles.

 

In July 2010 Elaflex Hiby negotiated a seamless controlling interest in LGE from Philip Treloar, who remains as Managing Director, along with the management and support team.

 

Initially, LGE started with one product (LG 1 E GasGuard nozzle) with UL Listing and a
not so flash sales turnover. The new management worked on developing the Acme 1¾” GasGuard nozzle range and at the same time looked at international distributor opportunities for the GasGuard Acme, Bayonet and Dish connection nozzles.

Over the ensuing years LGE developed the GasGuard brand name as a leading LP Gas nozzle range in many International markets. These markets include Canada, USA, Mexico, Chile, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Germany and the UK to name a few.

 

The team at LGE is small and dynamic and offers quick turnaround of both new and repaired nozzles.
