PRODUCT UPDATES

New Valve components for Gasguard nozzles (Underwriters Laboratory Listed).

The LG1, GG1 and GG20 Gasguard nozzles have been fitted with a new Valve Ball Guide assembly, which effectively combats plasticiser contamination that can leach from the internal linings of some upstream hose assemblies. The plasticiser (in the form of Phalates and Adipates) forms a sticky residue on internal components downstream of the hoses in LPG dispensing systems, including the nozzle.

The new Valve Ball Guide assembly directly aligns the Valve Ball and Valve Seat and overcomes any contaminants affecting the Valve seating performance of the nozzle.

All valve assemblies in the above Gasguard nozzles have been fitted with the new valving system since the 26th August, 2009. All LG3, LG3N, and seal kits are supplied with the new Valve Ball Guide assembly. Please refer to the Drawings and Bill of Materials for each nozzle mentioned.

The LG30 and GG30 Bayonet Gasguard nozzles and Seal kits have also been upgraded with the new Valve components.

GG10 Gasguard Nozzle takes a step forward.

This nozzle design will introduce a new level of Safety and performance to the bulk filling through Bobtail hose reels.

Trials on the prototype GG10 Gasguard nozzle have been completed. Industry feedback has been collated and final production prototypes have been produced. LGE will now submit the GG10 to Underwriter Laboratory for Listing.  All is going to schedule; LGE expects that GG10 production units will be available in November 2010.

GG20 Series Nozzle

As of 1st February 2008 LGE will be supplying the GG20 series nozzles, the LG20 Nozzle will not be offered as a full assembly. All spare parts for the LG20 nozzles will be supported for maintenance reasons.

The GG1E and GG1DN are also now available, as the positive impact of the GG nozzles are realised, LGE will be phasing out the LG1 series nozzles.  As there is no change in the current pricing structure for these new generation nozzles, we are hopeful that you will embrace the change to the advantage of your organisation , your customers and the industry in general.  Again,  LGE will continue to support the Spare Part requirements for all LG1 Gasguard nozzles.

LGE is striving to maintain our position as a proactive L P Gas nozzle development company. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to meeting the Industries needs and hope that we can introduce further nozzle developments in the near future.

The brochure and information about the new GG range is currently available on this website.
