GG10 Gasguard Nozzle UL listing

 

The new GG10 bulk filling nozzle has taken yet another step forward, with successful field testing of prototypes, the GG10 nozzle is now a UL listed product, meeting high performance and safety standards set by Underwirter Laboratories.

 

Productive field testing has allowed the design team behind the GG10 to improve any operational or performance problems with the prototype, including an enhanced safety ammendment to the GG10's Nose piece.

 

The GG10 is now available for sale to our global customers!

A "perfect synergy" with ELAFEX HIBY

 

In July 2010 Elaflex Hiby negotiated a seamless controlling interest in LGE from Philip Treloar, who remains as Managing Director, along with the management and support team.

 

The purchase of LGE by Elaflex has greatly strengthened the opportunity that the company can offer the Australia market.

 

“This deal is a perfect synergy” according to Philip Treloar, Managing Director of L.G.Equipment. “We are the market leader for LPG nozzles in the Asia Pacific and other International regions. LGE's customer base will benefit greatly from the additional high quality product lines offered by Elaflex. ELAFLEX LPG hose and MANN TEK breakaway couplings

 

LGE has begun distribution of high quality Elaflex LPG hoses in Australia and some regional areas. LGE is assembling, testing and certifying the LPG 16 hose and looks forward to enhancing their hose opportunity by supplying imported LPG “Orange Band” hoses from Hamburg.

 

We have recently been granted the Australian and New Zealand distributorship for
MANN TEK LP Gas couplings and Breakaways.

 

The combination of Autogas nozzles, light industrial nozzles, LP Gas hose and MANN TEK high flow Dry Disconnect couplings greatly adds to our customer opportunity and we look forward continual supply of these two high quality products.

New Valve components for Gasguard nozzles (Underwriters Laboratory Listed).

 

The LG1, GG1 and GG20 Gasguard nozzles have been fitted with a new Valve Ball Guide assembly, which effectively combats plasticiser contamination that can leach from the internal linings of some upstream hose assemblies. The plasticiser (in the form of Phalates and Adipates) forms a sticky residue on internal components downstream of the hoses in LPG dispensing systems, including the nozzle.

 

The new Valve Ball Guide assembly directly aligns the Valve Ball and Valve Seat and overcomes any contaminants affecting the Valve seating performance of the nozzle.

All valve assemblies in the above Gasguard nozzles have been fitted with the new valving system since the 26th August, 2009. All LG3, LG3N, and seal kits are supplied with the new Valve Ball Guide assembly. Please refer to the Drawings and Bill of Materials for each nozzle mentioned.

 

The LG30 and GG30 Bayonet Gasguard nozzles and Seal kits have also been upgraded with the new Valve components.
